I went to the local boat show and got to exam the T22 up close. This is my thoughts.

-Storage space is huge under the seats in the cabin.
-the flip up seat has better, more sturdy brackets than the chillax back rest.
- space in the bow is noticably smaller and the cup holders are tucked in the sides.
- the subwoofer/heater box looks cheaper. It is just a carpeted flat peice of plastic with a heater hose mounted to it.
- the cup holders on the back deck won't hold a bottle while the swim deck is lifted up to work on the ballast/engine/storage.
- the glove box and vinyl surrounding it is more rereinforced than the A22. Seems noticably stiffer.
- overall fit and finish seemed nicer than the A22.

This was just some things I noticed while playing on it. It is all opion based against a 2014 A22.

I like the carpet floor bases. I'd expect it to have deeper storage as it's a new hull and I believe the hull is a wake/surf hull like the A24 compared to the A22 and A20 which are wake hulls.

The deep storage is nice. It is insane the difference between A22 and the T22. As far as quality goes and extra room, the T22 is superior.

Axis did well with the new hulls and the storage. Can't wait to put that storage to use in my A24 when I return from work in a couple weeks. I know surf boards will fit in the side storage of the A24 along with wakeboards.

They tweaked the swim platform a little to. My buddy has a A 22 with surfgate and it's a little tough to get your board on the platform without scratching it up. On the T22 they tweaked it a little it looks like that problem is fixed.

I didn't notice. I will have to take a look at this next time I see one. Overall, I am impressed with the T22. I still prefer my A22 for the style and layout. But that is all just personal preferrence. I can see people making use of the extra storage space under the seats by putting lead there.

If Axis had a T24 I may have gone that route instead of the A24. The T22 is a great looking boat and even some of the Malibu snobs love it.
