We just bought a slightly used 2011 A22. The boat does not have a depth finder currently. Anyone know if it's possible to add the factory depth finder after the fact? And if so, any ideas on how involved of a process it is?

Don't know how involved, but my boat was initially built with no options (misbuild). The depth finder was one of many things that were put in after the boat was built, so it certainly is feasible.

I also don't have one. But I did some research. From what I read, there is a modual that needs to be added under the dash. This will allow you to toggel the info switch to the depth finder. But what I did not look into, is where the transpoder is located. Or is the wires there, and no transponder.

But if you have more info on this and perhaps the cost please let me know.

Can anyone tell me where theres is located?

It's even with the speedo sending unit on the opposite side of the v-drive, if you look in my topic about the pnp install on the first page there is a really good pic of it right in front of the ballast pump on the left, just behind the unused inlet on the fuel tank, 7th pic down
