Anybody keep their boat on a lift all season? We're on a lake and don't plan to pull it anywhere else so a lift would be super convenient. Otherwise I'm launching it every Friday and it's harder for the older folk to get on the boat from the dock. BUT I think my stuff will get stolen on weekdays when I'm not there.
Anybody have any experience with this?

I love having a lift when I am going out on the weekends. If you have a covered lift and a storage locker even better. I have had some people report stolen items so it depends on your area. normally unless items are laying around on the back of the boat or exposed we do not have a problem even on busy weekends. Check your area and ask around for some that have a lift at the marina or near where you plan to leave your boat.
Some lakes have spider problems or bug problems so make sure you cover and uncover depending on the lake.

Well I'm really thinking more about my tower speakers and amps more so than life jackets and ropes. Does anybody else do this and they don't get their systems ripped off?

Art, do you have the ability to disconnect the tower speakers? Might be worth looking into if not.

I put mine on a new lift last year and had no problems. Like someone else said, I'm sure your location makes a big difference. I got a lift with a really big tower canopy that hides the speakers very well, so someone drifting by really wouldn't know they are there without a lot of poking around.

I should add that the convenience of having the boat on a lift in the back yard is amazing. I didn't even realize how much time was wasted when I had to trailer. Now I can just jump in the boat for a quick ride or go see someone across the lake without it being a big production.

I know what you mean, we have sport toon on a lift and it's the only way to go, having the boat parked right out back is a sweet luxury.
I've got the WT 485s so taking them off quickly isn't really an option that I know of? I know Exile makes quick disconnects, so if these get ripped off I may go that way.

WS has quick disconnects available too but I don't know how that works for speakers that need 2 like that
