Just curious which board to buy for my wife. She is a beginner but wants to try it out. I almost got her a LF Luna 137 last night but then thought i should ask first. also any binding reccomendations? myself i have a LF and love it.
She is 5 foot 6 and weighs 135lbs
this will be her first board. just wondering which size would be good for her too. thanks

I am looking at the LF Angil and the Hyperlite Blur for my wife. I would also like to get a demo ride before we buy.

I bought my wife (who is about that size 5'4" 135) the Ronix Dahlia 135 with Hyperlite Syn ct boots. She got up the first try and crossed the wake! She said the boots are great and the board has 8 fins so it is super stable. The whole package was less than $300.

Women's boards are not much different than mens/regular other than color....I demoed a lot before I bought and decided on the CWB pure and cwb bindings. I didn't want the pink and purple graphics and this board had the same structure of "female" boards. If your wife is not set on "girly" colors you have many more options to choose from. I have been very pleased with the performance of both my board and bindings. The board is a 134. I did get the female version of the CWB bindings bc they fit my feet better than the mens.

I got my GF the Ronix Quarter til Midnight in 138. She is 5'9 140lbs. She absolutely loves it. She was a total beginner at the start of the season. Many other girls have tried it this summer and they all really like it. It is a great board for beginners. However once you hit the intermediate stage I feel like a narrower board might be a bit better.
