Just picked up a new 2013 A22 ( I know no surf gate :( just couldn't stretch the budget enough for a 2014) I am trying to figure out the best mount and place to mount a cell phone holder to play music off the stereo. Just wondering what placing and mounts you guys have had good luck with. The place I had my old mount would be kind of sketchy because there isn't a side windshield to keep it from flying off the boat when going over big wakes like on my old 2002 wakesetter

yes please post pics. I need something to hold me over until ours is built and delivered. as far as phone placement I plan on just leaving it in the pocket where the usb connection is

If you are willing to ditch your head unit, I would do this. I think this is rad and may do it in my next boat.

For now I keep a 8GB iPod nano in the boat at all times, unless I need to add new music that I get. I feed it down the access cut out under the dash on the right side where the steering cable goes. I let it drop all the way down and just leave it there. It never gets wet and is charging when the radio is on. It works great for me.

my bad I didn't have any pics. Only ones I have are from the dealership website that I bought it from so they aren't the best pictures. But the boat is wrapped up for the winter so it's the best I have Image
