Just purchased 4 Exile SXT65q, ZLD, 6 in boats and the new XM 30.2 and XM 15.4. These are the new amps from exile that are suppose to run cooler for us guys in the more hot/humid areas. i will also be re-locating my sub to underneath my dash with a simple ported rhino lined box bolted down and a black plexiglass face plate. Cheap easy, looks ok and serves its purpose. i have a general knowledge on the install and feel comfortable doing it but wanted to see if anyone else who has a 2010 has done a tower install as i noticed there looks to be only one single hole drilled and one wire group per pair of speakers and then is just ran parallel from one speaker to the next. the exiles have the wire running through the clamp so aim guessing i will need to either run two more wires and drill holes in the tower? or is there currently another hole covered by a clamp and can i just splice the current wire without worrying about over heating the speaker wire? any knowledge or advice or experiences is greatly appreciated! i will post pictures as i go as this will be an ongoing winter project.

You'll love your Exile set up... They are the best! Customer service is unbelievable and the sound will blow your mind. I've had 4 XM9's on my previous boat and now running 4 XM7's on my A20... Congrats on your new sound system!

Yaa the customer service has already been out of this world. Rob And Brian have been taking care of me at all hours and days of the week. Can honestly say I've never seen customer service quite this good.

Dylan. Is there a big deference between the 9s and 7s?

Potato sack, according to Brian the 9"s have more of a mid bass to them then the 7's to add to the projected sound. I was going to go with the 7s or 9s until I heard a pair of the SXT on another boat, not a true HLCD speaker but they are crystal clear riding at 70ft, the 7's are definitely a lot louder while riding and still as clear but I was on a budget so I went with the SXT plus they will be better for me in party cove not making the people directly behind me really really mad lol

Texas boy the white is badass!! How'd u manage to pull that off?? I was planning on having the grilles and clamps painted but didn't know about the cans! That looks clean! Also do you have any idea about the 2010 tower and my wiring issue?

I think you can custom order them that way now. Check with whoever you purchased from.

As far as wiring goes jus use existing wires or string to pull new wire. Mine came pre wired and I just used old wire to pull the new.
