Axis Wakeboard Boat Forum

The 6th annual Wake N Flake 2014 is scheduled for March 1st. This is our yearly tradition of celebrating the transition from one board sport to the next by doing both on the same day. Boat dealers across NC and one in TN bring out their latest models for you try out or you can pick one of 2 cable parks; Jibtopia or Hexagon. That's 10 locations to choose from! That evening everyone converges on Appalachian Ski Mt. for some snowboarding during the night session. The cost is $75, includes wakeboarding, lunch, a lift ticket and a hooded sweatshirt. Proceeds benefit Wake the World.

Looks cool! Wish there was one of these events at our lake too - maybe next year I can help get one going. We are actually already doing this new years day, but we call it Surf-n-turf. Surf part is obvious, but "Turf" because we snowboard the astro-turf at snowflex. Its not actually astro-turf and rides very comparable to groomed trails and terrain park (Open year round only $5/hour too!):

Where is this Snowflex? I have been to the one in Lynchburg.
