im having connectivity issues with my trailer lights. I always have a problem with the driver rear brake light ( except when I try and fix it of course). but I also have a complete trailer light issue, which I can usually wiggle the 7 pin and fix. first time I tried to fix it I found that all the extra wire in the tongue had bent and I guess broken the wires inside the loom, and straitening the bend would allow it to make connection. has anyone straight wired that 4 way? I was thinking of cutting the loom back behind the bend and then rewiring the 4 way or doing away with the junction all together

I am also having the same issue. Always the driver rear and have fixed with the 7 pin wiggle. Dealer said he fixed it once, but I still get the issue. Reply if you do as you suggest.

I think I fixed it but only time will tell. With the folding tongue folded and 7 pin connected to truck turn you lights on and examine the 5 pin connector inside the tongue of trailer. Move it squeeze it, and see if the lights flicker,if they do separate the plug. Turn the plug sideways so you can only insert one male plug into one female slot. Your checking to see how tight the male and female connections are. I found that the male prongs were to small and making a bad connection, so I used what ever I had laying around( a rivet) to spread the male terminal out. Repeat until the connection is tight... After I did this no matter what I did to the connection the lights didn't flicker. If it doesn't fix your problem scotifer repeat with each connection until you find the weak link

Went out today with no light issues had drivers side and everything, I'm a little impressed with my self ..... Let me know your verdict scotifer

You should put dielectric grease on all your connections too... this will help.
