My boat steering fell a lot stiffer than norm is there power steering fluid I need to add ???

So anyway my steering problem was from water pump line feeding engine dropped down and steering shaft was hitting line no biggie. Shout out to SMG lake lanier for walking me through problem and fixing it !!!!

Mine was rubbing in the same spot and I did not notice it until it rubbed right through the hose and I overheated!
