Is there a way to calibrate the speedo? I find I am running about 3 mph faster according to GPS than what the speedo says. I thought I remembered seeing how to do this in the manual somewhere but was unable to find it there.

Read the thread "anyone GPS vs speedo?" on the bottom of the first page of "general discussion", about 15 threads down from this one.
someone explains how to do it. I did it too, was 2 over, but I forget now... something like holding down button while display is on water temperature.

about + 2 from the factory seems to be standard. Don't forget to calibrate it at surf speed and wakeboard speed.

Ack. Got boat back from service and the speedo is way off. Can anyone let me know the proper method for calibrating? Holding down arrow while on lake only seems to reset gauges (long beer) or does some diagnostic thing. Still looking for the speedo calibrate. (Manual at repair shop still)

toggle through info screen to "lake temp"
get up to riding speed, 24, 25 on gps
press and hold the DOWN arrow for 3 seconds and the display will start blinking.
Use the up and down arrows to adjust your digital speed (on right guage) to match gps. I forget what button to push when done, I think it just times out after a few seconds if you do not touch anything.
Test it at faster speeds and again at slow surf speeds.
I took my boat up to gps 24, used speed control to hold it at boat display 26.0, then used speed control to increase speed by .2 increments until my gps rolled over to the next speed (my gps did not have tenths, just whole numbers). this way I knew I was going as close to 25 even as possible. I then took cruise control off and then calibrated speed down to 25.0 to match my gps of 25
good luck
