Hey guys, lookin for some help with a couple of stereo issues I just started having last wknd. First off, it quit recognizing my ipad. On friday it worked fine, but then saturday it wouldn't recognize it through the USB connection. Then i thought i would just hook it up through the aux cables and it worked, but it would switch the mode back to usb all the time. sometimes it would switch after only a few seconds, sometimes it would play for maybe a minute. I got fed up with that and dug up a cd and tried that. Even with the ipad totally removed from the equation.?.?
Has anyone had, or even heard of an issue like this? I have the sound pack 2 and it is all factory, no mods or upgrades.
Any insight would be appreciated!

Water in the usb connector.
When this happens it shorts across 2 of the connection making the head unit think there is something attached when there is not and it auto switches to the usb input when it detects something. This will happen even when nothing is actually connected to the usb cord.
Thoroughly dry and blow out all the usb connections including the one to the ipad and the one on the ipad and I bet it fixes your issue.
