If any of you are like me and primarily (or only) use an eq with iPods or phones for music, you might look into ditching the Sony head unit all together. I just finished up putting my WS420 where the head unit used to be and its working out perfectly so far. I made a rough trim piece out of plastic that I'm going to take to taps plastic so they can make a nicer one for me. It was pretty easy if anyone is interested in doing something like this. Don't mind the wires in the picture, I haven't buttoned up all the wires just yet. I'm thinking of wiring the amps through a stereo switch for a quick on/off. Let me know what you think.

Like it a lot. Let me know how the WS 420 works for you. I had to unplug mine because it kept cutting out.

I have thought about putting an eq over there. I've had it (uninstalled) for about 6-8 months trying to decide on a position. I like the idea, but we use the transom remote frequently when at the cove. Hmm...

I have the transom remote but never use it because it's not usable when listening to pandora - I don't own any music - I only ever stream. This was my setup on my old boat but haven't gotten around to doing it to this boat for a couple reasons...
I want to do it when I upgrade my stereo to Wetsounds and I need money to do that.

I now have my A22 for sale.
