I found out today I have something going on with my trailer lights. I am not getting good connection to the truck because they are cutting on and off. Does it just need to be cleaned with something or could I have a short in the trailer? I don't think it is the truck new F250 no problems with other trailers. What do I need to do.

Look inside the folding part of the tongue, mine had a corroded connection that caused the left side to intermittently not work

The runway lights are only supposed to work when the trailer is under water, there is a float switch back by the license plate

Must be the new truck, something was causing mine to burn all the time before. Thanks

I wish mine would stay on all the time, I bet it looks cool going down the road with the hull lit up.

It is cool looking, I got used to seeing them on at night in my old truck, and now nothing.

First thing I had the dealer do was over-ride the float switch to where they stayed on at all times. It looks sweet going down the road. I had a problem with my trailer brakes not releasing when backing and the lights going on and off. Turns out bad connection for the truck, the trailer was fine.
