During the weekend I sprang a leak on my 2011 A20. Here are two pictures, one from each side. Other then the hose being disconnected I was under the impression that there should be a lock nut and an adjustable nut. Am I missing something?

Also, the top brass part with the hose attached to it spins freely and has spun to the side and is crimping the hose running to it.

Any help with what I need to do to correct the issue is appreciated. All I can tell is that the hose needs to be reattached but I would need to loosen it off on the bottom clamps as it appears to be too short to reattach top the upper part.

Thanks!

That looks like you need to loosen the 2 big hose clamps and push the whole housing back into the black hose, and turn the seal so the small hose is on the other side, you should be able to see a few inches of the prop shaft between the seal and flange, it's stainless steel, that is a different seal from the one I used, I ordered the one they use on the malibu's and it ended up being an OJ

After you get it set back in place make sure the 4 clamps on the black hose are tight and stay tight, it just looks like they loosened up and it spun out. You may take a razor and cut 2" off the small clear hose where it got kinked so it doesn't blow out.

No more pics? That looks like a pretty beefy seal housing, the one I used is a real lightweight plastic
