I had the boat buddy on my x2 and was pleased with it. So I decided to put one on the axis trailer. Since x2 came from factory it worked flawlessly but I'm having trouble with it on the a22. Any body have any experience with this. X2 I drove it on trailer but with axis I'm wenching it on and can't seem to get boat high enough to hit release. I had to submerge tail pipe to wench it high enough to just get latch threw eyelet but it didn't hit release. Was trying to avoid driving on cause it did scuff up bottom of x2. Thoughts, ideas welcome What size is our eyelet?

My friend had a boat buddy on a x-star and it worked great. I put one on my malibu wakesetter and it worked ok but nothing like the one that was on his x-star. On my wakesetter it kept missing the eye bolt and after it missed it a few times then bent the pin that locked boat down. I stay away from the boat buddy now. Unloading and loading my axis is real easy and the boat buddy is nice tool but when it messes up it can be a pain.
