Helps to have a spare set of hands but I did it by myself on my previous boat. If it came with instructions that have measurements, thry are pretty accurate. I miss having a Z5 but not at dealer prices. Found the Z5 for my previous boat in another state sitting in the backroom. Turned out the people bought a boat with a Z5 and said they didn't want it. I got it shipped from Florida to Texas for $1350 total (Z5 and freight).

Oh, when yours arrived I bet you thought it was a queen sized mattress in the big ass box....I know I thought, "when did I order a new mattress?"

Yes it is a huge box, I have some friends that are tige dealers and they are going to help me with it. What kind of headroom do you have with the Z5 on a a22? I'm 6 ft tall and have the standard mtx tower speakers for now going to get new ones soon just not sure what I want yet rev 10 or rev 410.

I'm 6'00" tall and I CANNOT stand upright under a Z5 on an Axis. I always have to be hunched over.

CAUTION - someone will bust their forehead hard on that Z5 frame every few months when going from the bow into the cabin. It's just a fact of having a Z5.

Look at Chattwakes white Axis in the Classified section and you'll see how low a Z5 hangs. You might find a way to tweak the mounting position a little to get a little bit more head room.

Yeah, I figured out how the z5 worked with the aftermarket speakers and worked with Axis and z5 to get the struts relocated and the mounting positions changed. Look at how I had mine mounted, and you'll see how to get the most headroom.
