Wedge

Looking at an a20 that already has the bracket for the wedge but does not have the actual wedge. We're can you purchase that? Ay idea how much?

Hmmm...wedge mount but no wedge? Is that normal for "no wedge" boat? Is this new or used?

My guess is used boat where previous owner lost or broke wedge? As far as I know, you'll have to get it from a dealer.

That's what I was thinking...used boat with broke wedge. If that's the case make sure all the underwater gear measures straight.

where is that boat from? I have a buddy who ordered his A20 with the mounting bracket but without the wedge. He did this to save a little money as he did not want the wedge, but understood when he goes to sell the boat, having the wedge will help resale, so he plans on buying the wedge from the dealer at the purchasers request. So it is possible that this is a similar situation, but definately examine the underside of the boat for damage.

it is a used boat (2012). the boat came with the bracket but without the wedge to save some money.
it is a A20 and in great shape. only 38 hours...but I am torn between that and spending the extra money to get a 2012, new, A22.

most have told me to spend the extra money.
trying to figure out how much the wedge will cost me.
have some calls in now but no clear answer yet.

This is the Malibu branded wedge to give you an idea of what the price will go for - http://www.bakesonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=1693. If you don't have any luck with your local dealer, give Bakes a call - they should be able to help with the Axis wedge. It looks exactly the same, just without the Malibu symbol.

I saw your A22. thing is beautiful but out of my range. I can not believe it is not sold from what I have been seeing out there.
