Sick boat- not sure it's worth the price though...

Ouch! I'll stick with my Vandall. I like the Recon especially being in the military myself, but I don't think that's worth it.

The axisboatsinternational.com site lists the following components for the Recon edition (plus I've seen mention of a steering wheel upgrade).

Recon Edition – A20 & A22 only
a.RECON Graphics
b.RECON Gel Scheme
c.Charcoal tower
d.RECON logoed swim pad
e.RECON logoed carpet
f.Digital Snow Camo Accent in vinyl

Anything else in the boat justify the cost? Engine upgrade?

They should have included Recon edition heater vent covers for the dash as the ones in the picture sure stick out :)

Aside from the normals (sky pylon, chillax, bolster, pnp, wedge), it had stereo 2 and monsoon 350 instead of 335.
I just priced one with more options, same engine, and it came out to 65900. Recon has to be 3000+ upgrade package for the signature.
