I'm looking for a new prop but need help selecting between a cinco blade or just a high altitude prop for a 2010 A22 with the 335MPI. Current set up is stock ballast with PnP 400's in engine compartment, and arrow bag in bow. Extra 400 bag in bow area and 750 bag in the center floor. Plus wedge down. Pulling is good once to plane but getting there is difficult. Lake elevation of 1,120 feet (341 m) above sea level. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Average # of riders 3-4.

What prop are you currently running and are any of the passengers riding in the front when you take off?

Im guessing what ever one comes stock. Ill have to check it when I get home tomorrow. We have put someone up front and still took a little while to plane out. I have read that post before I posted this and raised the question 4 vs 5 blades. Thanks for the responses.

With your weight set up and description, I am willing to bet you already have the Acme 1235... if not, you have the OJ Core or possibly the cinco (highly doubt it because you would know if you had 5 blades)
If you already have the 1235, then that is the prop to have unless you really need more... then you have 2 good options. Both ACME, either the 2079 or 2315. 2079 is just a 1/2" less wide but same pitch and costs less than the 2315.
someday hopefully soon we will have both those props added to the test...

Johnny you are right it is the 1235 prop. Im getting in touch with my local dealer to see about trying out the ACME 2079 cause ultimately i would like to add more weight as I ride usually with 3-4 riders and it sacked out.

okay, that makes sense. Yes, if you are fully sacked with 4 people, def check out the 2079. Please let us know how it goes after you test it out.

Tried out the 2079 prop the set up was. 4 adult passengers, total weight = 600lbs (give or take) all PnP = 2500 lbs (give or take) extra 400 lbs up front extra 750 lbs in center floor.
total 4250 lbs of just ballast. at 22.4- 22.8 mph rope length 75ft.
We did not have the wedge down this time but tomorrow we are hitting it again, as last time we were short on time and mix up if some one did or didn't put it down. Also looking to kick in an extra 400 tomorrow as well and see how it preforms.
Hole shot like a champ and literally took about 40 yds to plane out. Kept speed awesome even on tight turns for double ups.
Ill have a video tomorrow to post a link tomorrow of the wake RPM's and performance hopefully. Here is a picture of the wake from yesterdays evening run.

2315 info.... Empty top speed was a GPS calibrated 39.6 mph. I threw everything I had at it and it just pulled like a boss! I had all tanks full, both 900s in the rear full, the front "950" shroom sac full, a 400 on top of the in the front, a 750 sideways in the center floor, and the wedge down. All said and done, roughly 5k in ballast and wedge. The prop and engine did not struggle one bit!
