I'm surprised this somehow has not surfaced yet but I figure with season ending and making plans for next year I'de like some feedback.

I know most people on here seem to trailer their boats. I currently have mine in dry storage. My family has a dock and i'm looking to move the boat over there so I can access it anytime I want. (The dry dock hours are awful). The depth is pretty shallow at the dock. I'm interested in knowing who on here has their boat on a lift, what kind of lift, (vertical, hydrohoist), how much water depth do you have?

It is a floating dock so that eliminates the ropes which would be the best for shallow water.

Thanks!

Mine is in a cable hoist year round. I set the bunks about the same width as the trailer, but close enough the skeg clears the cross member. The water is about 5' low in the pictures (typical for this time of year). I still have 5 more feet of water remaining under the boat. I think the water would go below the hydro-elecrtic intakes before I couldnt get it out.

That looks perfect and would be ideal, but since I have a floating dock instead of a stationary dock I do not know how well that application would apply?

Mine is on a Hydrohoist. Not sure what part of TN, I got mine off-lease. Looked brand new, was only a few years old, and I got it for nearly half price. Parrot Marine in Knoxville. I'm in 16' of water, but I don't think it needs but 3-4 feet.
