The results with the OJ 950 have been exactly what I was looking for. Prop is strong and handles everything we have thrown at it. Boat is performing exactly how I hoped. Running non weighted, cruising, with two to six in boat I’m seeing around 24mph at 4000 rpm. 5000 rpm is 30-31. Weighted down surfing, full hard tanks, 650 bow P&P, 825’s rear about 3/4 full plus wedge, with 5-6 in boat (at least one person up front or add extra 400lb on top of seats) running 11.4-11.8 puts me around 3900. Wakeboarding with the same setup but no wedge and only about half in rear plug and play running 21.6 puts me about the same rpm. 3800-3900. Prop runs smooth and sounds right. The different sound with the 948 that I noticed is not there with the 950. Fuel burn seems to be about the same. I keep forgetting to really closely track it but we can wakeboard all morning and surf all afternoon and burn around 24-26 gallons. I’m guesstimating between 5-6 gallons per hour. Prop is exactly what I wanted. Would recommend to anyone with similar setup.
