Speaking of hull noises.... Does anyone else hear noise from the boat/trailer while towing a low speeds? Or like if you're sitting in the boat while it's being pulled out of the water on the trailer and pulled through the parking lot? I do, and I'm not certain what it is but my last boat didn't make any noises like this. It's like a hollow/echo noise like its stuff inside the hull moving around or being shifted and like fiberglass on fiberglass. Really hard to describe... Just wondering if that's normal or I may have an issue.

These boats twist and flex on the trailer... take a look at your front window gap when on the water and than once on the trailer (at lease mine does)

Exactly.

I could barely get my windshield shut today once on the trailer and usually on the water it's snug but fits and closes relatively easily.

Mine is being replaced because of this... the frame is trashed from not being able to close the window and then having to force it so I could trailer it.

Yes, I got my T22 back from Malibu last week. They did a great job. Boat is really like new; better than new. I realized when I took it out on the lake over the weekend that my original hull was defective from day one. Always had a loud reverberation from hull which I now realize wasn't normal. I feel like I now have a Lexus boat. It's so much more quiet. Factory put everything back together well and polished everything, like new. Guys up there called me weekly from factory with updates and took a personal interest in making sure I was satisfied. Still had a little cleaning up of my own because she shipped in the rain, waxed hull and polished trailer up. My dealer Tommy's Florida has been great, they loaned me an LSV for six weeks, really advocated for me and now theiy're hooking me up with some bling. Although I was very anxious about the situation, Malibu and Tommy's really stepped up. Water is still 80 degrees in Central Florida, so we'll be hitting the wave this weekend too.

Good to hear!

Unfortunately even the best companies have an issue from time to time. The way they address it is the true tale of a good company VS a bad one.

Post some pics!

So as another winter passed getting my boat ready for summer inspecting the hull thoroughly, what do I come across but another spider Web of cracks in the bottom hull of my 15 a22. Just to give an update, I started the group a couple of years ago as my 14 a20 had stress cracks and that problem was resolved by them giving me a new boat. And now I have the same problem this year. The dealer has inspected it and found cracks all over the bottom hull of the boat and on the transom by the swim platform. The boat is being sent back to the factory for the summer to what I assume replace the hull :( On the bright side my dealer is giving me a 15 Malibu 22vlx. Not complaining other than idk how I feel about the diamond hull as I mainly wakeboard. Anyways, figured I would just give an update. I don't know if it's just my luck of if I'm physically running my boat to hard.

My 14' T22 has some cracks happening in the floor. Unfortunately since I bought my boat used, no warranty is transferred... Is my only option repairing it myself?

Ecore- Sounds like you have a good dealer. It makes a huge difference. My dealer, Tommy's in Florida really stayed engaged. I also got regular calls from factory management with updates. Quality Assurance guy, Ron Adair, was great and kept me connected for the whole 2 months that my T22 was in Tennessee. It's definitely bad luck. I feel your pain for sure. I enjoyed the Malibu that Tommy's let me use but I really love my T22 and was so happy to get it back. Tommy's got Malibu to throw in some extras for my trouble; they were great.
So far, the new hull has been perfect. I can tell a big difference in the sound from the hull on the water. I'm still paranoid about it, every time I take it out of the lake, I roll under the boat on my dolly in my driveway to inspect the hull. About 60 hours later, all good!

Glad to here that and I'm getting the same feedback from Malibu as you got. My boat got there last week and is being looked at this week. And I couldn't agree more, thought it might be nice to have a fancy Malibu for the summer but at this point I just want my axis back. The big touch screen may be cool at first but gets old really quickly.

Huh... Let's see.... You pay dealer, dealer pays most of it to builder and then keeps rest. Dealer makes a profit. Dealer laughs in your face when asked about a loaner.

Seems like a very similar situation as dealt with auto manufacturer with a recall. You get a loaner.

You have SERIOUS legal recourse if they (either dealer or Malibu) doesn't pony up a loaner boat that is comparable to what you have.
