I know my trailer is level as I bought an adjustable hitch to be able to play with it to see if it changed anything. Then I added airbags to the rear suspension. It helps but it's still not great.

I didn't think about contacting Boatmate about it, I just assumed I was stuck with it.

I have noticed having it full on gas or additional stuff in the bow smooths it out, just figured with these type of trailers it would be a giant pain to move the post/axles/fenders.

I would try and get a tounge weight and if you want I can get you a contact at boatmate.

And yes a major pita to adjust anything on these trailers but imo my boat is not safe going down the road so it must be fixed.

I know when the trailer is shipped it's springs are wound when they are stacked on the flat deck. That could have something to do with the way it tows. When I trailer G25 tri axles they sometimes have zero tongue weight and bounce all over the road, and others slam the back of my truck to the ground. When I asked the dealer they said its in the springs when they ship them.

That is total BS they are feeding you. Tounge weight will not change based on spring rate or height (assuming trailer is somewhat level) yes it will affect ride but not tounge weight. And if strapping them down is damaging the torsions then they are basically telling you they are selling you crap.

Guys.

Might be best to branch this off into a separate trailer discussion. If anyone has questions in the future they probably won't find them based on the title of this thread. Also it's taking the OP's topic off track.

Yes, I got my T22 back from Malibu last week. They did a great job. Boat is really like new; better than new. I realized when I took it out on the lake over the weekend that my original hull was defective from day one. Always had a loud reverberation from hull which I now realize wasn't normal. I feel like I now have a Lexus boat. It's so much more quiet. Factory put everything back together well and polished everything, like new. Guys up there called me weekly from factory with updates and took a personal interest in making sure I was satisfied. Still had a little cleaning up of my own because she shipped in the rain, waxed hull and polished trailer up. My dealer Tommy's Florida has been great, they loaned me an LSV for six weeks, really advocated for me and now theiy're hooking me up with some bling. Although I was very anxious about the situation, Malibu and Tommy's really stepped up. Water is still 80 degrees in Central Florida, so we'll be hitting the wave this weekend too.

Speaking of hull noises.... Does anyone else hear noise from the boat/trailer while towing a low speeds? Or like if you're sitting in the boat while it's being pulled out of the water on the trailer and pulled through the parking lot? I do, and I'm not certain what it is but my last boat didn't make any noises like this. It's like a hollow/echo noise like its stuff inside the hull moving around or being shifted and like fiberglass on fiberglass. Really hard to describe... Just wondering if that's normal or I may have an issue.

These boats twist and flex on the trailer... take a look at your front window gap when on the water and than once on the trailer (at lease mine does)

Exactly.

I could barely get my windshield shut today once on the trailer and usually on the water it's snug but fits and closes relatively easily.
