Under the dash sub?

Being marine I can see a little extra cost... because you have to coat it with something unless it is made of strictly fiberglass. If it is a MDF box coated then there is probably $80-$120 worth of materials going into it and the rest is labor which is usually $50-$60 bucks an hour. A strictly fiberglass box will probably have the same if not a little more cost in materials but it will also consist of even more labor. Ask what they plan on building it out of and maybe get a few more quotes from around town if you can. Good luck

How are you guys getting that scream marine box to fit in there with the steering cable? I know they are custom made but I could barely get a truck box to fit back in there. I see the scream box is recessed in a bit also. I ended up putting a ported box in there but it is hanging out beyond the opening a bit. Used some extra plexiglass I had laying around & cut a trim panel to go around the box. Sounds 100% better than being in the storage compartment & I only have about $50 in it.

I have a 2010 A22. I ordered a 2012 kick panel with the sub cut-out and just mounted a box to/behind it. Factory appearance and sounds nice.

when yall are talking about Scream Marine, are you talking about the folks in TX? Also, are the boxes your getting pre made by them or are they all one off?
