Trying out the 945 today. I am not going to lie, I am a little biased to oj props cause I ran one on my last boat and it was a lumberjack. It chopped so many limbs up without damage....it was awesome. Results will be posted soon.

I ordered some boat bling through amazon yesterday and got a pretty good deal. All 4 quarts (hot sauce, vinyl sauce, condition sauce, and quickie sauce) for $90 total with shipping. I think I saved $9 instead of ordering directly from boat bling, but every little bit counts right?

Does anyone else use the Amazon Prime music app? I switched to it and love it. I can't use it on the boat cause I don't get signal where I typically wakeboard at but I can use it where we party at. No commercials is the best.

Dezul I think you can save your prime music to your offline library and play anywhere. Don't need a signal.

Question about ballast bags as I'm shopping now since we are picking up the boat on Monday.

Do we get a forum discount for boardstop.com?

Lots of options. I have a W707 in my basement from my previous boat.....anyone know if the fittings are the same/would work? Might save me some cash.

Options I've found are from the following websites - boardstop.com and wakemakers.com

My problem is there is a bunch of varying info as to which bags work/don't work and sometimes it's conflicting even on the same website!

From boardstop.com I see these options but prices vary between what appears to be identical product.....Why?

Straight Line Sumo PACKAGE deal - $650 - http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... VdaqflVhBc
Straight Line Sumo bags SEPARATE but for less. If I buy 1 bow and 2 rear sacks it's $540 - http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... Vda1_lVhBc & http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... cts_id=695.

What am I missing? From reading it appears the package includes a few fittings but do they really cost $110 or is there something else?
Plus the bow bag in the package deal doesn't appear correct for the T22 bow setup so I don't think I'd get full advantage of it even.

Wakemakers.com has the same 3 separate bags for the same price but I have 10% off there so that drops the price to $486, not bad!

Same website but for FlyHigh bags....

Package deal for $670, so not much more but only 750lbs in rear instead of 900's - http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6933
And for the bags separate - $170 for the rear sacks - http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6682
and either $190 for this bow sack - http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=1065
or $320 for the model specific bow sack - http://www.boardstop.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6931
for a total of $530-$660. But either way both still cheaper than just buying the package deal.

What gives?

Wakemakers.com has the rear sacks for $180/each and same bow sack for $190 so that's $550 less the 10% discount I have brings it to $495.

Is there any difference between Flyhigh and Straightline? Looks are subjective and I could care less, they will be hidden under seats anyways. I am worried about performance/durability but that's it. I only have a Flyhigh 750lb now because a buddy of mine was selling it super cheaper a couple years ago so I bought it to try it out on my older DD Malibu. Has worked fine.

Sorry for the long winded post, I'd like to get the best bang for the buck and keep it easy so I can enjoy time on the water and continue shopping for other boat necessities?

-Matt

The package deal you listed on boardstop is for the older a22 or a20 with playpen bow. That bag would not work in any boat with a walk through bow. And the sumo bags have larger ports so would fill/drain faster than flyhigh

Lol. I figured that but I am too lazy to build a playlist.

Good lord my dealer needs to hire some real knowledgeable people to change the oil. I just busted my knuckle and used a shitload of energy getting my filter off. It was the second most difficult filter I have ever taken off and the tightest one. Lucky I am pretty strong with multiple oil filter tools. I only punched a couple of holes in it before grabbing it by its strongest point with a filter wrench manhandling it off.

Its a common problem with the remote filters. My service guy said they have a system where they use two wrenches and two mechanics when they get one that's stuck. He told me to just finger tighten them and I haven't had an issue since.
