I had similar issues. Cracks around swim platform mounts and transom lifting rings. Pulled the platform mounts and found port side holes were reamed out to be about twice the size they needed to be. The annulus was filled with silicone. There was enough flex that it started cracking the gel. Not sure what the cracks around the lifting rings were about. Dealer took care of the repairs. Doesnt look as good as new but whatever. Lots of other smaller issues that I took care of myself.

Does it cause the trailer the bounce or your trucks rear end to? I think I have a similar problem and it's annoying to tow. Need to figure something out.

Yes very bad... I pull with a 1 ton ford and it's manageable on it but behind my friends 1500 chevy is a pretty wild (scary) ride on the freeway. I would recommend finding a shop with a trailer tounge scale and seeing what you have. Imo it should be 7-10 percent of loaded trailer weight to ride correct.

Yeah, it sucks. I added airbags to my f150 just to stiffen it up/reduce the movement but it's still annoying. May look into measuring the tongue somehow. What do you think can be done to change it?

Repositioning the axles is usually how it is done.

Yes or moving the boat but with these boats that is very difficult and a major project. I think I will be getting a new trailer but I should know more by the end of the week. Boatmate has been great so far and had acknowledged there are multiple people with concern but they all have 15 a24s. I assume there is a lot more people who don't realize their boats don't tow right but just don't say anything. I have been filling my center tank (500 lbs) and it tows like a dream but that is not a long term solution.

Have you made sure your hitch is high/low enough that the trailer frame is sitting level on flat ground when hitched to the truck? If not that will absolutely affect how it is towing as well.

I know my trailer is level as I bought an adjustable hitch to be able to play with it to see if it changed anything. Then I added airbags to the rear suspension. It helps but it's still not great.

I didn't think about contacting Boatmate about it, I just assumed I was stuck with it.

I have noticed having it full on gas or additional stuff in the bow smooths it out, just figured with these type of trailers it would be a giant pain to move the post/axles/fenders.

Yes.. I have towed trailers for 20+ years and while hitch height affects the ride it would never make it ride like what it does now (unless it was like 3 ft high lol). And to be honest while I had the tounge weight scale I played around with level vs not on the scale and it had almost no affect of the actual tounge weight even when 6 inches off level.
