Now there is some water movement! Great looking install. The wetsound sub in the factory box looks pretty weak compared to that setup.

For all you that have purchased the 2012 footwell & moved the sub from the storage area, I have a quick question. Im assuming you have to disconnect the speaker wires & rca's from all the amps & remove the amp rack to get the factory sub box off the rack, is this correct? Did you have any trouble getting the rack screwed back into the same location in the same screw holes? Dont wanna screw through to the outside of the boat! This sounds like it is kinda gonna be a pain in the ass!

I got a quote from a stereo shop today for a box for the sub under the dash and it was $600 does that seem high or is that pretty normal? That is just the box with out any equipment.

ryankat- what does the quote consist of? I'm going the Wetsounds XS-XXX v2 route and want to build the box per the specs on WS website and do a custom faceplate over it.

That sounds high, but just wondering what's included.

that is only the box for $600.
