Even with the sac ball valve closed mine will fill? only thing i can think of is its pushing it past the drain pump and into sac thats only way they are connected

There are 2 ball valves in the access door. One for the bag and one for the tank. If they are both closed there's no way water can get in there, you may be closing the wrong one. The drain and vent are both on the side of the boat and if the water is getting in there you have more to worry about than the ballast.....like why you're sinking....lol

sorry so rough threw it together quick at work
i know the routes well cause i took it apart trying to figure it out
so the ball valve closest to driver seat is for stock tank and i open and close it the furthest one is for the sac its closed all the time. if both are closed then i think it stays empty but when riding stock full (stock valve open) the sac fills up. the only place they are connected is the drain hose. driving me crazy

That is how they are assembled at the factory, I took the drains and made them separate, and hooked the vents together. I also put a check valve on the bag side vent hose so excess water from the tank flows outside the boat instead of back to the bag. It works but if the valve for the bag is open it still gets pressure pushing water into the bag. The only thing left to do is put the anti siphon valve on the bag but im going to wait until I need to remove my sub box to do that, unless I can put it by the battery........It would work as long as there isn't a leak, and it would be easier to rout the hoses over there, Im going to try this before I go to the lake next week.

changing the Y to the vents corrected my problem. i read another post about adding 12v ball valves which i think im going to add in the lines so i don't have to open and close the feed to the pumps manually everytime

im having trouble getting my front sac to drain. it will fill just fine but it will not drain. any ideas?

My dealer had the drain valve on the wrong port of the bag see if you can trace the hose from the pump which should be visible from the hole beside the drivers seat and make sure it's connected to the lower hole of sac also make sure the hose is not bent in such a way that it has to suck up hill so to speak. Im just Assuming the pump is coming on.

So true about the dealers! Instead of "tracing" the hoses just unplug them turn on the drain pump and you will be able to hear the pump through the hose. Connect that one to the rear lower port and you are good to go.
