Hey bud... I will take some pictures this weekend... 3/4 plywood and 2x4 is all you need... plywood distributes the loading from the 2x4s across the floor.

yeah I am curious about the supports as well, I have the package 2 and am thinking of swapping out the four tower speakers for a set of rev 10's? you guys think that will be lighter or should I go with rev 8's? I want to make sure my wife can let the tower down on her own if she takes the boat out.

I asked in another thread but does anyone know if the knobs can be swapped for the clips? hoping it can as I can see the knobs constantly getting dropped in the lake ( my boat will be kept on a lift)

The REV10s list at 14.8 lbs and the REV8s at 12.8 lbs per speaker. Now the REV410s are 36.2 lbs each. So with 4 REV10s you are looking at 60lbs (4 speakers), the REV8s about 52 lbs (4 speakers) and the REV410s about 72 lbs for two. Either way that is going to be a good amount of overhead weight.

Don't for the weight of the racks, bimini, and the tower itself.

I've never lowered my tower but just looking at it I don't see my 5'2" petite wife raising or lowering it herself.
