I hate to really boil it down, but does anyone have any experience with the 2249 vs 2247 Its a microscopic difference, but I'm wondering if the additional cup is better for "grip", holding speed, and top end?

I'm curious as well. I don't have any first hand experience, but based on the info I got from acme the 2247 will be slightly less aggressive than the 2249. (Very slightly)

It's the same cup difference that the 2313 and 2315 have, so others may be able to chime in that have compared those two props.

Least aggressive to most aggressive 15 x 14.25: 2247, 2249, 2391
Least aggressive to most aggressive 15 x 12: 2313, 2315, 2419

I have the 1235 prop on my '15 also. Planing seems to be pretty quick, but I'm a little disappointed at top speed which seems to be around 37mph. I know it's not a race boat, but are there better options for higher speed?

Per my OP I am thinking about getting a 2279 for this very reason-should up my top speed from 38mph to 44mph since my primary use of the boat is surfing and running around. I am fairly confident that I'll be able to get upto surf speed with this prop and my current setup (the possibility that I wont is the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger). My guess is that fully weighted wakeboarding will require me to swap back to my 2249.

Anyone have specs on the OJ Cinco?

I'm running factory ballast, 750 PnP in the rear lockers, under seat bow sack, wedge and with 8 people I'm at 3800 rpm's at 11mph. I haven't had this setup wakeboarding yet, I'll run it up to wakeboard speed next time I'm out.

You have those flipped the 2247, 2249, 2391 is a 14.25 pitch prop. tje 2313, 2315, 2419 is a 12 pitch.

Thanks elc for catching my typo. I edited my posted.

Did anyone else find it interesting that wakemakers lists the 2277 for recreational riding, the 2247 for wakeboarding/wakesurfing, and 2315 for heavily weighted? They are listed like that for each model and engine type lol:

So does anyone have any experience using any of the 15"x14.25 props for wakeboarding behind a heavily weighted boat. If the boat is barely planning with the 15"x12 would it still plane with the 15"14.24 and just have a higher top speed? Just curious. I know that Nautique went to a 17" prop but they have a 2:1 gear ratio now too.

15 x 14.25 will get out of the hole faster and has less top speed than a 15 x 12. The oj 945 is between those, it's 15 x 13. not sure if you saw my post but I liked that prop. although if you are cruising long distances its probably not a great option.
