Jmott, I have exact same truck...

Good taste....i wish i had gotten the 20's. I downsized from a 4X4 F-250 and was a little concerned with how it would pull the boat. I could not be happier with the towing performance. What rear end did you go with? I opted for the 355 rear end with electronic locking differential in case i needed a bit more traction at the ramp.

I'm running the superhighway gears... 3.15. I hit the tow/haul and then push the down arrow to lockout 6th gear. In the end, in my 5th gear, it's almost the same final drive as your sixth gear. Although my mpg may be 1 point better when not towing.

So I've had this for about 8 years. I bought it from a guy in upstate NY, it was Coastal SC before that, so you can imagine what happened to the body. After several body shops told me the same thing, it was time to start searching for a new cab. I found this 83 cab for $400 delivered to the shop. I'm saving a bunch of money on labor by not having 2 vehicles and just the cab. So here is the start of the teardown and some pics of the new cab. I'll post some updates as I get them.





Finally getting some work done.... new cab going to blasting this week. I arranged for my son to be there today (he's almost 4) he loved watching that! Then the reassembly begins. I think I'm gonna source a roll bar for the rear. Since my son will be riding back there for the next 5-8 years.

Our new 2013 A20

We just picked this brand new 2012 A22 up last Saturday. So stoked for the summer it is killing me. Coming from an 06 Tahoe Q6 Im ready to take my riding to the next level!!
