yeah i cant ready what it says i guess my browser is set up differently all i get is use id string its the part after...... and then it won't scroll over. i tried the long link which is how another forum is set up but that didn't work.

I want to know the weight setup on this wake?? I believe it's Chattwakes photo.

And he got to test the 2012 platform on his 2011 before 2012 boats even rolled out of production.

Old or new platform, it's a huge wake!

Ok a couple of things...

Has anybody be able to do this on an A20? I see all A22s on here...

Also, my cruise control can't maintain speed for the life of me when I try to surf....it will slow down and wash the wave out and then over correct and go too fast. Seems like it happens more when turning slightly but I'm doing that to help the wave...don't know what to do!

I noticed this issue when I was out yesterday trying to tune my surf wave (w/ my A20). I set my cruise at 10.8 and the actual speed would read between 9.8-10. I turned the cruise off and found where the throttle positon would be with boat going 12mph. I stopped the boat, turned cruise back on, then put the throttle control close to that position. When the cruise beeped I looked down to see actaul speed reading what I set it at.
How is the weight set up in your boat? I fill regular side hard tank+750lb. PNP, center hard tank full, front 450 PNP, additional 300-400lb on top of the bow seats, and wedge up. I had a lot of white wash before adding the additional 300-400lb bag in the bow.

I am doing rear surf side hard tank + 750lb PnP full, center tank half full (guessing), and front bag full (I have a 750lb). I just did some searching on wakeworld and found this thread:

Chattwake got on there and said that the harder the bow is weighted, the cleaner the wave is...which is good because I need to go about 14.6 to get my wave clean enough to ride (need to calibrate my speedometer too). Also, it seems like the center tank needs to be empty (to help with the lean I'm assuming). Next time I go out I'm going to try this plus put 2 friends on the front bow surf side. I am almost there, I can feel the pit but can't seem to stay in it, even squatting down and leaning forward. I will try your cruise control technique and see if that helps. I'm betting with some more bow weight the cruise control will even out too. I'll try to get some videos put up today too...

Just wanted to post back here and let everyone know that I finally got it figured out! It was definitely the way I was weighting/driving the boat. A couple things that made a big difference...

(1) Empty out the non-surf side PnP bag *ALL* the way. I actually stood in there and held the bag up until it all drained into the hard tank, then made sure the hard tank was completely empty. It's amazing how much weight an almost empty looking sack can hold!

(2) Set cruise control to anywhere from 10.8 to 11.6mph, at least with my weighting. One of the things that kept making me think I was driving too slow was the issue with #1. When it's not weighted right, the wake really turns to wash at anything below 14mph, at least in my experience. And of course, at 14mph, there's no pit and it's impossible to ditch the rope!

Once I got #1 and #2 all straightened out, we were all able to drop the rope right away and stay in it for quite a while! Now that we've done it, we're totally hooked! I think I'm gonna order some more bags today so I'll have them for next weekend! I want a 400lb sack for the surf side rear seat and 400lb for the bow surf side.

Question I have now is.....how do I get the wave a bit longer? We're awfully close to the swim platform. Where do I need to add weight? Here's what I ran...

rear pnp 750 bag full surf side + hard tank
front pnp 950 bag full
center tank empty
wedge UP

You say that you have your front 950 sac full? Is this the PNP sac that sits under the seating area in the bow? Have you tried running with the center hard tank full?
