How was your T22 set up? I am still working on getting mine dialed in.... We were full ballast, wedge, p-n-p with 750s, 10.6mph 3 adults and 2 small kids. Had a good wave, but I would like to get it a little longer.

Raimie That wave is setup with...

Stock Ballast full
Sumo 900s in the rear
Sumo 650 under the bow seats.
FlyHigh 400lbs on top of the bow ( this will be switched to lead)
4-6 adults in the cabin including driver (slide the skybox seating to the center of the boat and sit there)
Surfgate out and probably 11.5ish mph.

Wedge deployed for surf and retracted for skim.

Takes a little playing around with but once you find the right weighting setup these boats are a monster wave and really fun to surf and transfer

ecore66 mostly has to do with rider preference. with the wedge retracted it keeps the wave more mellow and not as steep. Wedge deployed = steeper more of a lip.

Skim boards have less rocker than surf style boards and are more prone to pearling on steeper faced waves. Skim board riders tend to do more spins and surface tricks so the more face to the wave (less lip) gives them more room to play on.

Cool, thanks. What motor do you have?

That T22 has the base 330 motor. You'd be amazed at what that motor can do when proped right. It also helps that he rides in the CA delta so elevation is not a concern

Working on getting ours dialed... its getting closer... I think we still need a little more weight.

I have the 330 and high altitude prop. It handles the weight better then I thought. Gets up to surf speed pretty quick and is able to maintain the speed just fine.
