My 2010 is the same way. Usually takes 2 times to start.

Dam you all! Now I have really started to notice this starting lag. Sometimes its much longer than others with no discernible pattern. When cold was the shortest of my three starts yesterday - strange!

I noticed that yesterday also. Last run of the day boat fired up within 3 sec and the air was down to 63.

Fuel rail does have hte port. Forward part of rail, port side of boat. Also, it does not have a MAF. It is presumably a speed-density system (thought I suppose it could be alpha-n, but I doubt it).
