Your speedo must be way off at surf speed. I never see a surf wake that ugly at 11mph. Looks more like 8mph

Awesome I will have to get my lowrance off my bass boat and figure that out. I do a lot of boarding in a navigation channel, will current have effect on speed being off?

Every one I have read says spedo reads +2mph @ wakeboarding speeds. My surf speed was off by +1mph. I recalibrated at both.

Stra8inok, since we have paddle wheel, even with a current the boat will run the correct speed compared to the water. But it will be off from your gps since the GPS does not factor in the current. GPS will basically measure your speed compared to land which is not what you want. So keep that in mind if you try to calibrate with a current. GPS should read slower than actual upstream and faster than actual when going downstream.
