VAstyle - sweet tow rig... how does it handle the boat? I am looking for a 71-75 blazer (the convertible one) to launch our A22 and would like feedback. I would only tow a mile and launch. I am thinking this would be a better option than an international scout but haven't seen anyone tow a wakeboard boat with one.

I would say the Blazer would be much better than a Scout. The A22 and trailer will WAY out weight the scout. My Blazer handled the boat great! I've got 35's on 20"s with 4:10's. I also have the 700R4 tranny. No biggie at all. I wish I would have put the larger 350 in it when I built it though, but it's fine. No problem at all. Stopped great too! Burned some gas though. I love the full convertible blazers, but I'm getting older and like some shade over my head.

Got mine last Thursday! First time boat owner. It is a 2012 A20. Had a few mishaps, but still loving it. Bimini ripped up on drive to lake - hence the rope around it. It was in the boot. Should I have taken the whole thing off to travel? Dealer did not say anything as I drove it out the parking lot. Also, the cover gas cap zipper is offset from the gas tank by a foot. When I was filling it up, the gas pump was not fulling into the whole and did not shut off when it was full, so I got a little bit of gas on me and boat. When I put the Tower down to fit in garage, the mirror bar sticks straight up so I have to remove at screws instead. Other than that, I am very happy with the boat - just learning to be a better driver and how to more quickly get out to the lake. Tried to go Saturday but once we got out the marina was full :( I drive with a Toyota Sequoia - pulls ok - but takes a lot more gas then expected. I have a black and yellow dodge durango that would match the boat perfectly, but it does not have a tow package. Just got done with engine break in so looking forward to using it for real!

Sounds like a rough first day, I put a small scratch in mine the first time up to the dock. I like the color scheme.

LHC - I saw your boat from a distance this weekend. The green looks very nice on the water!

Thanks elc! We are extremly happy with the boat. It did come with the wrong graphics but no big deal. Our dealer ordered the new ones for us. Let me know when in Havasu next time and we will hook up for some riding.
