Thanks Gibby. Forgive my ignorance, but it looks like the leveling hitches I am finding only drop the hitch lower. The hitch mount I have now goes straight out from the chassis, it doesn't drop at all. This is the only one I found that actually looks like it goes higher than the chassis by a significant amount:

Total trailer noob here so maybe I'm just not looking at it right.

flip the hitch upside down and it will raise the ball up instead of dropping it

Yeah I spoke to Gibbs via PM and he had told me you could do that...thanks for confirming that it is indeed safe to do. I ordered a hitch from etrailer.com the other day but it won't be here til next week...booo!

Late to the party here, but FWIW, I have a friend who I used to crew for who towed his race car with first, a 99 Lightning, then a 201 Lightning, doing just that. WOrked out fine for him for about 6 years when he got an Expedition. LOVE the Lightnings!

First time I got to see it on the water @ night. I think I need to add more led's around the inside speakers and cup holders..

Looks awesome! I was thinking of doing some leds inside the stainless vent covers in front/rear.

I added the LED's inside the vents, really look sharp at night.

If you did red in the left and green led in the right vents it would actually be legal. (Ill probably do red or white all around).
