So todays run was good. Gibby and I had some sweet runs. Water temp was 65 not to bad, not wetsuit time. But anyhow full WOT 5k rpm 43 mph. Water was alittle choppy, so this spring summer time it should help out alittle. With wedge down, and stock ballast 23mph it was runny about 2900 rpm, which is considerable lower than before. with no wedge and stock ballast it was running at 2700 rpm at 23mph. I do have fat sacs (bow and rears) but they have not been installed yet. Should be soon. But i do remember last summer with stock ballast and wedge and at 23mph i was running the boat over 3k so this is a nice change for the 5 blade. Pick up onto plane was much better now too. even doing some powerslides, the boat handled well and did not captivate or anything like before. just did what i wanted and kept on going. I am very impressed with the 5 blade prop and so happy that i got it.

anyhow when i get the sacs in, ill update what i see. thanks again on the group buy we did, so worth it.

Nice! is it just the pic, or is your hitch running pretty low?

Matt, he's pushing that towing 5k towing capacity on that Lighting when you figure boat, trailer, batteries, gas, gear, etc... Sweet matching combo though.

That's what I figured. I always wanted to run a trailblazer ss, but I imagine it would do the same.

A leveling hitch would fix it. I use one. My truck, 05 Ram squats to look level while towing my A22 Vandall. Naturally a 2 wheel drive truck sits 1 1/2" to 3 inches higher in the rear. That is why that truck looks level and the trailer looks like it is extremely dipping down. That truck can tow that boat fine. I would not say its pushing the limits. When it is weighted on a single action trailer they will tend to sway more while in tow. Again a leveling hitch can help fix that. You do not need to use the sway bars. They are usually for long trailers.
