Dam that looks great. I Wish there was an easy way to get the swim deck off without a trailer. Is it a bitch to get back into the boat?

If I was running the old platform, I'd pull it off, measure it, cut a piece of lexan to fit a footprint much smaller than the factory platform, then attach some nice wood - like teak or something - to the lexan sheet, then screw it to the factory platform mounts and be done with it. Otherwise, I'd mock up a small platform out of cardboard, buy a sheet of fairly thick aluminum, get it cut, get it powdercoated, and then put hydroturf on the top and screw it to the factory platform mounts.

You can use the wedge as a step when it's in the down position. If it can support 1000-1200lbs of down force my little 160lb self should be ok.

I set the cruise on 11.8 when she surfs. To embed a video don't use "quick reply", use "post reply" and there's a "YouTube" button to click on and it tells you which part of the string to copy and paste.

I think I heard some people say the 2011 platform will work well if you smooth out the bottom. Any idea on how to go about doing that? I don't feel like spending $1,300 on the 2012 platform :(

Finally found some time to get this uploaded.

Wakesurfing behind 2011 Axis A22 with 750 lb PnP bag half full in rear, front PnP bag 75% full, center tank full, and Wedge Down. People sitting randomly around the boat... Wake can get much bigger and much cleaner under better circumstances with more patient passengers. Stock swim deck, at 10.8 mph

(I'd be interested in hearing if people are modifying the bottom of the stock platform to clean up the wake ,$1300 is a lot of gas)
