I have the stereo pack 3, its a sony head unit with alpine speakers in the boat, the not sure what the towers are but the amps are big alpines too. It sounds very nice. I am pleased.

Thats stereo pack 2. pack 3 has has all that stuff replaced by wetsounds. The mtx stuff was dropped after 2011 I believe.

Very well possible. I know its not mtx and puts out great sound.

IMO i thought the mtx was horrible. amp was ok, but as soon as I replaced cabins with polk db651 there was an immediate difference in sound. The only thing left I have stock is the head unit. If I were to do again, base package with HU remote.

I have all mtx in mine and the interiors sound great, I had to rewire the amp because they had 3 speakers on each front channel, which brought the load down to 1ohm, the amp just can't handle that, I put the rear 4 on the front channel at 2 ohms and the front 2 on the rear channel at 4 ohms, then I had to hook up an RCA splitter to all 4 inputs, now they sound really good. The entire stereo pack 2 from the factory should have been done differently, there aren't many amps that can perform well for an extended period of time at a 1 ohm load.

I'm actually surprised that the amp even worked with a 1 ohm load. Usually just the mono amps are capable of those loads. Guess they should have advertised an onboard grill too! I bet that thing got hot!
