I haven't had to add much to my T23. I didn't go with the P&P due to the amount of space I need to carry tubes, floats, blow up pools, ropes, goggles and squirt guns. Haha! Just your typical family boat. I did add two 300lb sacks under the seats and around 400lbs of lead in the front. We ride at 11mph with stock ballast and the wedge down. It's not a monster wave but surfable for myself and a 7 year old....
