So the 2773 wouldn't plane out unless you drained some of the rears but you decided to keep it anyways? Just cause the RPM was lower? I'd like to be able to plane out and my RPM be around 4k at 23.

Only with the wedge down it won't plane out. With 3k ballast it does great popping out and getting to 23mph. I kept the prop because it felt stronger than the 2249 and I didn't want to drop to a 12 pitch because of the big jump in RPM's. I settled with the 2773.
