Was just looking around this morning and found this stuff.
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Duck-Brand-Re ... 2/17018151

I'm headed out anyway so I think I'll stop by the auto parts store and wall-mart and see if I can find it

I did try the fingernail polish on the underwater lights, they're not bright at all and unfortunately, haven't found where I could even get red ones. I see lots of blue!

I'm converting all my speakers and cup holders to have LED rings. The LEDs are water 'resistant' ... they make a waterproof LED strip ... perhaps just attaching it to the underside of the platform will work better and give the same effect?

I just bought some of the tape from the auto parts store and installed it this afternoon. I will try to get some pics at night as soon as I can.

Where did you get the light from and does it still include a drain plug?

Did you have any problems with getting the light level AND tight? I might get a single just to not have to worry about it being off.

I finally got around to doing this too. That same manufacturer as previous (http://boatpluglight.com/) has round ones now too. 133W and 8000 lumens for $200.

Works great wedge up or down.

Did the 1/2" NPT thread fit into your drain plug without Adapter? I always thought the drain plugs were 3/4"?`
Are you happy with the brightness?
