On my 2011 A22 I had Deck-Trac and I liked its non-skid purpose on the bow but could care less for the other pieces (I know the dealer can order just the pieces you want, you DO NOT have to get the whole kit) but mine started to peel up in 3 corners. It was a factory instal so I guess I can blame factory labor for not prepping the gel coat. My boat stays indoors so I know it's not from just the elements other than lake use. If there were a color option, I'd get it again.

UPDATE:

Skins are in. Just trying to find time to go get them.
They also sent a solution to the original problem. My understanding is that it is an Axis decal that fits in the corner. Does anyone have any pics of this yet?
Also wondering about the new boats coming out. Has this issue been addressed on the new ones? If anyone has a 2014 take a pic of the corner and post it.

Thanks

check out the third pic down. if you want a more close up pic let me know

Wow. I was told that it would be some kind of decal with Axis cut-out or something a little more appealing to the eye. That looks just like a pieces of solid black deck trac..? Please tell me I am wrong?
Headed to the dealer today to get my skins and the so called 'fix' to the problem.
Will let you know what I get and also keep yall updated to the skin replacement process.

I have two pieces of solid black decktrack in the corners of my 14, I actually didn't notice it until you guys mentioned it, since my boat is black.

My has the same issue. I will have the dealer get the skins but im going to put a strip of carbon fiber vinyl there to match the seat corners. I think that will look much better

I don't think it's too much to have 3 color options for deck-Trac. Maybe black, white, and cement/gray

Here is the fix that Axis has done for the corners. Picked mine up today along with seat skins.

Thinking about taking a razor and cutting out the Axis to give it a little better look in the corner.

We had the same thing, I was lucky enough to get a picture as it was happening. As you can see, it can concentrate the light from the very top edge. So I'm not sure the sticker on the flat vertical section will stop it. We had ours fixed also, no questions asked, and opted for a light grey insert, and it has been fine since, but Keep an eye on it guys, as ours got to the point where it was so hot, it was smoking, and nearly caught alight.
