Walter- I rerouted my front pnp bag today and took it out to test it, works a lot better now. That little air pocket under the chillax seats gets filled to the top now that i switched the vent line. I also cut the fiberglass where the vent enters into the space behind the kick panel. In my boat the vent hole they cut was all the way to the lowest point on the floor under the chillax seats, so I cut the hole 1" wide all the way up (6" or so) so that the vent line cant get kinked or pinched. I hope they do not put that hole that low on every boat because that is poor execution.

Everybody- 2 things. First, I know a cheap "free" way to keep the chillax brackets from puncturing your front sack. Mouse pads. You know the typical one thats rubber and neoprene like a wetsuit. they are perfect thickness. I am going to "re-appropriate" our mouse pad, cut it into 4x4 squares, fill up the front sack, then glue them on the sack under each bracket (4 on my 2011). I think you can buy em real cheap online, I just found a bunch for 99 cents and free shipping. Second, I added a rubber protected metal strap to hold the front pnp sack drain line nice and low against the floor as it comes up out of the hole. I noticed that the hose cant make that sharp turn and ends up 6-7" off the floor before it enters the sack. when idling or sitting and draining it would not drain the sack all the way. when I would get up to speed and hit "empty" it would drain a lot more water. check out the pictures, it really keeps that drain line low against the floor.

File comment: This is shot from the bow, look towards the back of the boat with the chillax seats up. you can see the fill hose coming out as well as the drain hose. I put that strap as close to the holes as possible.

That is a good way to re-do that set-up! Yeah I don't blame you for not wanting to run both pumps every time you want to drain one of the front bag or tanks!

So on my boat we have had an issue with having water auto filling into the front tank and sack. Has anybody else had this issue?! It just seems to fill a little with water when we aren't using the ballast at all. Doesn't seem to have an anti-siphon like on the rear tanks. I saw that some people are having to close the overboard ball valves every time?

Has anybody had this issue as well?!

Yes my front tanks fill at random. i didn't read the entire post. so im sorry if im repeating what others have said. i keep both ball valves closed (on the fill pumps) and i also moved the y to both breather vents. this has reduced the rate at which they fill. i have just gotten used to draining both and plan on the electric valves ( as posted on this forum) and changing the check valve this winter

So... I was out on the lake doing some surfing (front pnp full center hard tank empty.) and my new problem with the vent line being at the rear of the front bag (my vent lines are sharing the Y now) is that my front bag drains into my center hard tank. Think i should switch the drain lines back to the Y connector?

kohlieo. Sorry to hear that, I don't run my front without my center so not sure if mine would do this too, but I still have my vent lines separate with the drain shared (I want to switch this next time I pull my sub).

You can add a one-way valve on your vent line from your center hard tank (anywhere before the Y) so that water can't enter the hard tank from the vent, but water will still exit that vent line... thats cheap and easy. Only question I have is how much pressure is needed to open that valve, so will the air build up in the hard tank be able to escape through the vent line...(I am pretty sure it will, but may need to find out)

I think walter said that a check valve in that line could create a vacuum and you risk cracking your hard tank. I think i'll dive undre the dash tomorrow and swap back to the shared drain... Unless maybe a vented loop would help. I could try that i guess
