Does it have a hard tank in the bow? I know the batteries are in the bow now, like the new LSV.

No it appears it will use the same horseshoe bag.. the upside is we pick up the extra weight of the batteries so what another 100 lbs probably?

For sure. I'm glad they moved them to the bow, just for that reason. It just makes sense.

That and the amount of storage now in the port side is impressive.

The 18 is BIG. We just picked ours up Friday. I'm coming from a 16 T-22 with 409 for comparison. The dealer was prepping ours and had a17 A24 next to it, huge difference in height, 4 inches makes it look and feel a lot bigger. The 409 engine, 2:1 transmission and 17" prop has no problem pushing the boat thru the water at 11MPH with full ballast, 1100's in the rear, 650 up front and all PW2 settings. The seat cushion foam is a lot better. My wife likes the new glove box much better. Batteries in the bow is a very nice move, frees up space for board storage under the seats. The boat cover is a lot nicer, more of a stretchy material. The auto vent PNP works as advertised. Even manually venting the T-22 I never could get it full, no problems anymore.
One thing that is a bad change is the Bimini cover. The new style makes you unsnap and unzip everything to wrap it for storage unlike the old one that wrapped the tower and Bimini all at once. I grabbed my old one from the dealer and gave him the new style. We all agreed that was a bad change.

Do you know what Bimini you got? GL or CS?
