I hope to someday own a former Chattwake boat ;-) Looks like a perfect boat and a sweet deal.

I've considered upgrading but all the lakes around me are drying up, there is one lake left that is 153 miles from my driveway that can be used, the others are mud pits, the lake treedoc2000 uses is being pumped and they have no water to put back, luckily his boat was in the stereo shop when the level dropped below his boat lift last month, this drought is wearing me out, I'm ready for some rain

You West Texas boat owners are hardcore. Couldn't imagine towing 3 hours each way. You need to move to Central Texas. I have 8 lakes and a river within an hour, closest 2 are 20-25 min.

The city of Lubbock needs to leave that one alone!!! Thats my favorite spot to ride, the water is so clean there, not like the chocolate milk at nasworthy!
Jgriffith, which boat is yours? I've seen a few other axis boats at Alan Henry but haven't talked to any of them yet. I've seen a white and red one, a white Vandall and a green and black one.

Yep. 1.07 miles to the marina where I keep my boat. I've walked there before.

This sucks, I need to move.....

If Alan Henry gets too low the nearest lake will be a 5 hour drive, amistad is 4 but it's pushing 30' low and looks freaking scary, it's getting rough in the desert

I dont know how Chatt does it, selling another boat. Matt must be getting them for him at cost. My 11 Vandall is loaded and I love it. Anyways to the topic... I want a Recon boat. I want a Vandall loaded Recon with the exception of plug and play and heater. the back sacs can still be integrated if you still wanted however I would rather use pumps and get the boat dialed in correctly. I know for a fact its 67k for a Recon with plug and play, 350 monsoon, z5, stereo 2, tricked trailer. Ill post the options when I get them. Its hard to pull a trigger on the boat though when they are sky rocketing in price.
