It's a beauty!!

Here's a photo of one i found that looks like what I've got on the way. Sounds like ours are being built at about the same time.

Love that Black and Red. I think I have seen a picture of the a22 in the water with a similar color scheme, looks sick.

What options did you get and not get?

I am trading our 2001 Tige 21V Rider's Edition for the A20. We ordered the tricked out gel coat (all black) with red (regal) accents, AR335 engine, and cement color interior with black accents and red inserts.
Other than that we got the:
-Stereo option package 2
-Heater 2 outlet
-Tatami matts
-Swivel wakeboard racks
-High altitude prop
-Batterry isolater switch
-Pop up cleats
-Flip up bolster seat
-ChillAx seats
-Deck trac pads
-Docking lights
-Transom underwater lights
-Red tint under seat lighting
-Custom cover
-Plug and play ballast
-Auto wedge
-Depth finder
-Tow mirror bracket
-Quick collapse knobs
-Ski Pylon
and went with the standard single axle trailer, were pretty jazzed!

My son is the wake boarder, he's a WSU student (Wichita State), I just ride along and drink beer mostly.. oh and do the maintenance, but I love being out on the water. Just getting to old now to do the crazy shit, going to try surfing this year though.

Did you do about the same options?

Wow, you got that thing loaded. That sounds awesome. My local dealer has sold 3 A20's already, and just sold his floor model the day after I put my order in. He was super stoked on the A20 water test, said the wake was awesome. I am looking forward to getting a pull behind one this year.

I too just came out of a tige, 1998 22v. Great boat.

We chose the cement interior as well with black and white accents. As far as options, compared to your boat, ours has basically nothing.

335 motor
core prop (acme 1615)
plug n play
chilax seating
bimini
boat cover
standard board racks
tower mounted mirror
depth finder
snap in carpet

We did not get any of the trailer or light packages, no wedge, no stereo (although I am having all the holes cut for the speakers) because I will do my own stereo, and the A22 comes standard with tandem trailer.

I plan on going with the sony head unit, and wetsounds all around, still undecided. Have 2 deep cycle batteries already, so I will be installing a perko switch and batteries on my own. I also plan on finding an aftermarket set of board racks later on. The final thing is to tint the windshield.

after that, I will be completely done... I hope :)

Wow, that's interesting that you owned a Tige previously too! They are great boats, we only owned ours for one season, previously owned a 97 Yamaha Exciter for 10 years.

Now we are just trying to get the best boat for our needs, and within our budget....we think the Axis A20 fills that bill the best. So we decided to get all the bells and whisles with it and the price is really decent considering what you get, we are about 27K difference on the trade.

I expect these boats will do nothing but get more expensive each year so getting in on the ground floor seems logical. Plus the Tige at 10 years old was showing some wear and tear, but still a decent boat. Just decided to "go for it" you know, you only live once might as well enjoy the hell out of it, this aint a practice run!

Be sure and keep us posted on your boat and of course pictures are a must! I'll do the same.

Safe boating Bro !!

I really like the all white too. Good choice but I am a little biased. Image
