tnvandall. glad to hear your dealer stepped up for you. A brand new power plant... nice. so now does your boat have 31 hours, or 0?
just wondering, why or who left that hose clamp loose? was it a clamp failure? was it loose from factory? did you have that winterized? if from factory, then they screwed up as well as your dealer for not checking over everything like they are supposed to.
anyhow, glad you will be on the water soon and hopefully it is trouble free.
haha, it is to be determined how many official hours we will go with. I bought the boat at the end of March from the dealer. The first time it had been on the water was when we test drove it. I'm assuming the mistake was made from the factory. The screw was just lose, the clamp slipped down on to the hose and I just pulled the hose back up and tightened the clamp down. (Multiple towels and t-shirts involved to prevent burns).
The experience sucks and who knows when I'll get the boat back but the dealer told me to come grab my loaner tomorrow while the repairs are taking place so I'm pretty excited to see what it will be!
