Guess I should have read the post right above mine, I guess that pretty much answers my question. :)

My storage uint is 119 1/2" high and it will not fit unless I break down the tower.

Sometimes I have a problem getting the threads to start back when putting it back up. I am afraid that by taking it down and back up on a regular basis is going to mess up the threads on the screws or worse on the tower arms.

I am going to try to do what someone earlier mentioned and use something to put through the openings on the arms. (something like a 2x4 all the way across.) That way I dont have to lower the towere all the way. Also going to look into some kind of jack to use to assist in keeping the tower up so I can put screws back in. Thus making it a one man job.

Ferral, According to the previous post, you need 10' 3", but I can not verify. I sold my trailer (sort of miss it).

I finally figured out a way to raise and lower the tower with those 2 massive REV410's on it. (making it a one person job and not 2-3) I have come up with a jack system and also a way to support the tower without having to lower it all the way down. Will post some pics before the week is out and I have completed it. Test run was great. Just need to cover some parts with carpet to make it look better and help protect the gelcoat in case of a mishap.

I have to do a complete break down to get mine in the garage. tower, side brackets, platform, wedge, and trailer neck. i can break the boat down alone in about 5min. i made a little stand to suport the tower so it doesnt rest on the mirror bracket. hardest thing for me is the platform.

Anyone find the thread size for the tower bolts? been looking at mcmaster.com and they have some knobs that might work.

I had to retap one of the holes on my tower and it was 1/2 - 13NC.

I decided to cut a bigger hole into the front of my shop, I have only been running my tower up and down for 3 months of light use and dont wanna do it anymore. I worry about the threads going away over time.

This is what I am worried about also. Not to mention the 100 lbs of REV410 speakers on the tower and my back. It takes two to do it. Even with two people you have to have the tower in the perfect position for the threads to go right. A mm off in either direction and it really doesnt want to thread. Get it just right and it is as smooth as silk. Doing it with the Sound Pack 3 is really hard. I have called around and looked for other places to store the boat and all of the openings are 10 feet high. I need 10' 3". Really poor design on Axis part. I love the boat but am having a really hard time with the height of the tower.

I do the same but once I have it set I raise my tower as high as it wil go and use a strong velcro strap thy has a eye with a carabiner and attach that to a eye bolt I put in the ceiling. Makes cleaning and working in the boat way easier with the tower up as high as it will go. It's not enough for the brace but you can walk around in there
